What is yoga therapy?


You’ve heard of yoga as a workout regimen, but how is it used as a therapeutic tool? During a session with me (Kate), we’ll adapt common yoga practices—like postures, breathing techniques, mindfulness and meditation—to address specific physical and mental challenges you may be facing. As an intuitive bodyworker, I will pull from my training in other mind and body modalities; such as John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, The Emotion Code, and SomEx and add in all varied techniques and tools to create a healing session that’s tailored to you and your needs.
