This is not your average personal training session. Kate will use her many years of Yoga Therapy to help you rebalance your body by correcting structural imbalances, stretching, & strengthening. This isn't a yoga session, it's mindful movement specifically geared towards your body's needs. 
Mind ~ Invest in your mental health. Experience Mind-Body Therapy. Learn Stress-coping skills. 
This is a holistic approach to mental health. Including the body in addressing the mind is a game-changer.  Learn empowering information, skills, and practices that will help you make small and lasting changes to move you closer to feeling and being YOU again. 

The WHY:

The body and the mind hold the stressors, pressures, traumas, and losses of life. Ignoring the warning signs of pain, distress, or unease will eventually catch up with you. Take care of yourself now and invest in a healthy and peaceful future. The pathway of preventative wellness can include mindful movement, yoga therapy exercises to rebalance the body, breathwork, and/or mind-body practices to rebalance the nervous system. 

As we age, our bodies become less flexible and our fascia, if not loosened, begins to tighten down on our organs, bones, and other systems of the body. I believe that staying flexible through intentional stretching, mobility exercises,  and correcting misalignments in the body from poor postural habits will prevent injury, lessen pain, and prolong a healthy and active lifestyle. 

Kate's WHY:

For over a decade, I've worked with people in crisis, whether at an addiction recovery center, or with clients who are struggling with chronic panic attacks and sleepless nights. I've also seen and have been able to help people in a lot of physical pain because they ignored the signs their bodies had been giving to them all along. I am so grateful I was able to be a resource and help to these beautiful souls, but those experiences have made me very passionate about helping people take care of themselves now!

Preventative wellness is a tool and a skill where I help teach people to reconnect their body and mind as chronic stress, the busyness of life, and/or trauma create a disconnection in the mind-body. As people learn to recognize and listen to the cues their body is giving them, they are then able to set limits for themselves to preserve their wellness through self-honoring choices, healthy routines, and self-care. I help clients start where they are and give them tools to support them for where they want to go on their health and well-being journey.
